Project:Global Day in D.C!

Over the weekend, the Project:Global Team from Wetsel took part in their culminating activity as they ventured to D.C. for the day. Throughout the semester students in the club have been interrogating global educational themes such as perspective consciousness and the power of human choice. Their one objective for their field research this past Saturday was to move through the different spaces in D.C. to find memorials, exhibits, text, and other evidence, from which they could identify perspectives and narratives that might be under-represented, misrepresented, or completely missing. It was a great experience and these students did a fine job representing Madison in our nation’s capital.
